By: BWW News Desk

Kegelstatt musicians Steph Wake-Dyster, clarinet; Esther Toh, double bass; Renae Stavely, oboe; and Anna Webb, viola, together with Alexandra Castle, flute and Emma Perkins, violin, will guide the audience through "Dance" with live spoken interludes, emphasizing the connection and dialogue between the performers, the music and the audience at 2.30pm next Sunday 9 July.
Program for "Dance": Erwin Schulhoff - Concertino for flute, viola and double bass; Alberto Ginastera - Duo for flute and oboe Op.13;Elliott Carter - "Esprit Rude/Esprit Doux" for clarinet and flute and Sergei Prokofiev - Quintet Op.39 for oboe, clarinet, violin, viola and double bass Anna Webb, violist and ensemble spokesperson, explains why the theme of "Song and Dance" was chosen for Kegelstatt Ensemble's two Adelaide concerts. "Song and Dance" is a theme which could really apply to any conceivable program, as all music really is both song and dance!
