Corinthian Singers Presents BIG BYRD AND FRIENDS

The Corinthian Singers, under the direction of Music Director, Alistair Knight, presents Big Byrd and Friends on Saturday 6 April at 7pm. The Corinthians joined by special guests, Musick for Severall Friends, will highlight some of the great vocal music of the Renaissance.
Included in the program will be the famous Mass for Four Voices by William Byrd, his Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis from the Second Service and Ave Verum plus other great British music by Richard Farrant, William Mundy and Nathaniel Giles.
The choir is pleased to be joined by the early music group Musick for Severall Friends, who will perform In Nomine by Robert White and then join the Corinthians in Giovanni Perluigi da Palestrina's Stabat Mater.
