Feinstein's to Present Lynda Carter 10/21-25

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue their 10th Anniversary season with the return engagement of TV and stage star Lynda Carter. Her new show runs from October 21 – 25 at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Immediately following her smash run in Atlantic City this month – which the New York Daily News called "total and triumphant" – Lynda's new show features hits by The Supremes ("Where Did Our Love Go?"), the Beatles ("In My Life") and Bonnie Raitt ("I Can't Make You Love Me"), in addition to standards like "Fever," "Deed I Do" and "Put the Blame On Mame." Lynda is currently recording a new CD in Nashville for release later in the year. At Feinstein's, she will be joined by a five piece band led by Music Director Sam Kriger.

Lynda Carter, after being crowned Miss World-USA in 1973, outdistanced hundreds of other actresses for the leading role in "Wonder Woman." Carter went on to produce and host a series of five Emmy-winning television network variety specials featuring her singing and dancing, appearing with guest stars like Ray Charles, Kenny Rogers, George Benson, Merle Haggard and Tom Jones. More recently, she has starred or guest starred in dozens of films and television series, including "Smallville" and the films Dukes of Hazzard and Sky High.  Her recent stage credits include appearing as "Mama Morton" in the West End production of Chicago. She also performed at Chicago's 10th Anniversary on Broadway celebration at the Ambassador Theatre in New York, alongside other stars Ann Reinking, Bebe Neuwirth, Joel Grey, Chita Rivera, Brooke Shields and Melanie Griffith.

An accomplished singer, Carter showed a talent for music since her early childhood.  She co-wrote several songs on her upcoming album and made frequent appearances as a singer during her career, including performances at London's Palladium, the MGM Grand and Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, and highly-rated television shows, including "Lynda Carter's Variety Special" and "Lynda Carter: Encore."

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will play the following schedule: Tuesday through Thursday at 8:30 PM. The new weekend schedule will present shows on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Shows have a $60.00 cover with $75.00 premium seats, except for the 10:00 PM shows, which have a $40.00 cover with $60.00 premium seats. All shows have a $40.00 food and beverage minimum.
