The new musical Kinky Boots, from four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), will begin preview performances on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, with an official opening night set for Thursday, April 4, 2013. The Hennepin Theatre Trust presents the 2012/2013 Broadway Season, which features five Minnesota debuts: The Book of Mormon, the multi-Tony Award winning musical blockbuster from the creators of "South Park;" War Horse; Catch Me If You Can; Priscilla Queen of the Desert; and Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Also featured in the season is Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins, Rock of Ages, Monty Python's Spamalot, and Shear Madness. Aida, a co-production in partnership with Theater Latte Da and directed by the acclaimed Peter Rothstein, is also available.

Producers Whoopi Goldberg, Stage Entertainment and Troika Entertainment announce casting for the North American Tour of five-time Tony Award nominated musical SISTER ACT.
