Jim Steinman is working on a musical based on his 'Bat Out of Hell' albums. Steinman has revealed that the musical, Bat Out of Hell, will be based on the songs from the three-album cycle. Described as a Cirque du Soleil-type spectacle, Steinman wrote both the music and lyrics for this dynamic project. (more...)

According to Classic Rock Magazine, Monty Python's Terry Jones is collaborating with composer and lyricist Jim Steinman on a musical adaptation of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker Suite, called Nutcracked. Jones said he is hoping for a Christmas 2013 opening in New York. (more...)
