A new companion to The Beatles' first BBC collection, On Air - Live at the BBC Volume 2, is out as of today, Monday, November 11 in 2CD and 180-gram vinyl packages with a 48-page booklet. On Air's 63 tracks, none of which overlaps with The Beatles' first BBC release, include 37 previously unreleased performances and 23 previously unreleased recordings of in-studio banter and conversation between the band's members and their BBC radio hosts.

As a prelude to playing three shows in Vermont on November 9 and 10 that will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of The Vermont Pub & Brewery (the state's first Brewpub), New York-based guitarists Sean Harkness and Brian Camelio will be joined by New Orleanian Chip Wilson for a New York show on November 5 at Stage 72. The musicians will bring a program of original, New Orleans and classic covers with elements of jazz, folk and blues to New York and Burlington, with several Vermont musicians sitting in. For the Vermont shows later in the month, the trio will be joined by Vermont's own Lucas Adler, reuniting the group that played at VP & B at its start in 1988.

'Priscilla Queen of the Desert' has traveled from the Australian outback to the Mojave and will be in residence through August 18 at the Venetian Resort and Casino. The national touring company of the Broadway show is way more flamboyant than the source material in the 1994 movie.

High school seniors of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) got the graduation ceremony of their dreams on Saturday, May 18, when Disney Theatrical Group President Thomas Schumacher delivered their commencement address, and the diplomas were presented by 'Mary Poppins' herself: UNCSA alumna Rachel Wallace.
