Muny Executive Producer Mike Isaacson announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for the Muny's 2014 Season, which opens on June 16 with Billy Elliot The Musical. San Diego Musical Theatre announces its second production of the 2013 season, Rodgers and Hammerstein's THE SOUND OF MUSIC, running May 10-26, 2013 with a press opening on Saturday, May 11, at The Birch North Park Theatre. THE SOUND OF MUSIC features Music by Richard Rodgers, Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and Book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse.

Multi-award-winning set designer Beowulf Boritt, along with noted costumes designer Patricia A. Hibbert, and acclaimed lighting designed by Ryan O'Gara will head the design team for the upcoming Billie Holiday musical "Lady Day" starring Tony and multiple Grammy Award-winner Dee Dee Bridgewater. With an opening set for Thursday, October 3rd(6:30PM) the production will take residence at Times Square's Little Shubert Theatre (422 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues).
