Last night, December 10, 2012, the cast of LES MISERABLES turned out for the film's New York City premiere held at Midtown's Ziegfeld Theatre. Christine Pedi, Christina Bianco, Carly Sakolove and John Walton West take on the roles of stars as they arrive at the red carpet, including Patti LuPone, Elaine Stritch, the movie's cast and more in the parody below!

Youth Theater has announced a new production of Michael Slade and Joel Gelpe's The Little Moon Theater, based on the book by Irene Haas, with choreography by Joanna Greer, musical direction by Jim Colleran and direction by Janine Nina Trevens. The Little Moon Theater will play a limited engagement at at TADA! Theater (15 West 28th St. 3rd Fl. New York, NY 10001). Performances begin Saturday, January 19 and continue through Saturday, February 16.

Disney's THE LION KING and NEWSIES to Offer New Accessibility Services on Broadway

Supported by funds from the City of New York Theater Subdistrict Council, LDC and the City of New York, Disney's hit musicals The Lion King and Newsies have joined The Broadway Accessibility/Audience Expansion Initiative, which creates collaboration between producers and accessibility specialists at all stages of production. The Initiative is a partnership between Inclusion in the Arts, a New York-based not-for-profit, and G-PASS, a service company utilizing technology from Sound Associates Inc., in collaboration with Disney Theatrical Productions. This historic Initiative provides theatre-goers with disabilities a theatre experience as complete and captivating as that enjoyed by non-disabled audience members. The services are: I-Caption for deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons and D-Scriptive for blind and low-vision patrons.
