Capital Stage continues its ninth season, THE HOMEFRONT: Soul-Stirring plays, with a love story told with the sharp wit of celebrated playwright Tom Stoppard. The 1984 Tony Award-winning play THE REAL THING illuminates the mysteries of love and the complexities of marriage. Capital Stage's production will be directed by Janis Stevens and will run from tonight, January 22, 2014 through February 23, 2014, with a press opening on January 25.

James I, James II and James III - are a new cycle of history plays by award-winning playwright Rona Munro and directed by Laurie Sansom, Artistic Director of the National Theatre of Scotland, which are to be presented in an unprecedented co-production by the National Theatre of Scotland, Edinburgh International Festival and the National Theatre of Great Britain, during the Edinburgh International Festival in August and at the National Theatre in London from September to October.

The February broadcasts of The New York Philharmonic This Week - the weekly radio series of concerts and recordings by the New York Philharmonic, hosted by Alec Baldwin - begin with Music Director Alan Gilbert leading the Philharmonic in Beethoven's Fidelio Overture and Symphony No. 1; Shostakovich's Violin Concerto No. 1, with Lisa Batiashvili as soloist; and Gershwin's An American in Paris. The following week, guest conductor Andrey Boreyko will lead the Philharmonic in a performance of Stravinsky's The Song of the Nightingale; Mozart's Bassoon Concerto, with Philharmonic Principal Bassoon Judith LeClair as soloist; and Zemlinsky's The Mermaid, Fantasy for Orchestra.

Canyon Crest Academy (CCA) Envision Theatre will present William Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night', guest directed by Jason Maddy, from February 28 - March 8, 2014 at the CCA Black Box Theatre. The production team also includes Jeremy Sewell (CCA Technical Director/Set Designer) and CCA Students Mandy Wirt (Assistant Director) and Kara Mendez (Stage Manager).
