FORBIDDEN BROADWAY has been an unstoppable force in New York theatre since 1982 when Gerard Alessandrini created the first parody lampooning the Broadway shows and stars of the day. It is a favourite among theatre lovers as well as Broadway stars (Angela Lansbury, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathleen Turner, Patti LuPone, Bernadette Peters, Carol Channing, Stephen Sondheim, Cameron Mackintosh, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Hal Prince among others), who have been known to stop by and laugh at themselves!

Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man is a new comedy beginning performances at The 777 Theatre (777 Eighth Avenue, between 47th and 48th Streets) on Wednesday, January 22nd. On Saturday, January 25th, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man will hold a post-show talk-back with Dan Anderson and Maggie Berman, the authors of the international best-selling book on which the show is based. The talk-back, moderated by award-winning writer Michael Musto, will also feature playwright Matt Murphy and director Tim Drucker. This event will be held following the 2:00pm matinee that day (3:30 pm). The press opening for Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man is set for February 9, 2014.

The Pasadena Playhouse announced Bruce Davison, Sharon Lawrence and RoxAnne Hart to star in A SONG AT TWILIGHT by Noël Coward, the fifth production of its 2013 - 2014 Season. A SONG AT TWILIGHT is performed March 18 to April 13; the press opening is Sunday, March 23.

The National Theatre of Great Britain will present The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Simon Stephens, adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel, directed by Tony Award-winner Marianne Elliott, on Broadway at the Barrymore Theatre, 243 West 47th Street, in the Fall of 2014. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time transferred to London's West End, following a sold-out run at the National's Cottesloe Theatre in 2012. The production received seven Olivier Awards this year, including Best New Play.
