Trevor Nunn is to direct Rob Brydon, Nigel Harman and Ashley Jensen in Alan Ayckbourn's A CHORUS OF DISAPPROVAL, opening at the Harold Pinter Theatre in the Autumn. Jessica Ellerby, Barrie Rutter, Paul Thornley and Susan Tracy will join previously announced company members Teresa Banham, Daisy Beaumont, Georgia Brown, Rob Compton, Matthew Cottle and Steven Edis.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the American Premiere of Nick Payne's IF THERE IS I HAVEN'T FOUND IT YET, directed by Michael Longhurst. If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet will feature Annie Funke as "Anna," Michelle Gomez as "Fiona," Jake Gyllenhaal as "Terry" and Brian F. O'Byrne as "George." Trevor Nunn is to direct a cast including Rob Brydon, Nigel Harman and Ashley Jensen in Alan Ayckbourn's A Chorus of Disapproval opening at the Harold Pinter Theatre later this year. Joining the trio on stage will be Teresa Banham, Daisy Beaumont, Georgia Brown, Rob Compton, Matthew Cottle and Steven Edis, who is also the show's Musical Director. The production runs September 17, 2012 - January 5, 2013, with an opening night scheduled for September 27, 2012.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced a new Off-Broadway production of Simon Gray's comedy-drama The Common Pursuit directed by Moises Kaufman. The Common Pursuit will begin performances May 4, 2012 and officially open on May 24, 2012 at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre / Laura Pels Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This is a limited engagement through July 29, 2012.

Neue Galerie Presents BIRTH OF THE MODERN, 2/24

On February 24, 2011, the Neue Galerie New York will open the exhibition 'Birth of the Modern: Style and Identity in Vienna 1900,' including more than 150 paintings, sculpture, works on paper, fashion, and decorative art objects. Among the highlights are the paintings Hope II (Vision), 1907-08 by Gustav Klimt, Lotte Franzos, 1909, by Oskar Kokoschka, and Laughing Self-Portrait, 1908, by Richard Gerstl, and key decorative artworks by Otto Wagner, Josef Hoffmann, Koloman Moser, and Adolf Loos. The show is organized by Jill Lloyd, an independent scholar and curator, and Christian Witt-Dörring, adjunct curator of decorative arts at the Neue Galerie. The exhibition will fill all the exhibition spaces of the museum. The Neue Galerie is its sole venue, where it will be on view through June 27.
