Inspired by true events, Airswimming tells the story of two women who are incarcerated in an asylum for sexual deviancy and having a child out of wedlock in 1920s England. Forgotten by their families, the two women form a bond over their 50 year imprisonment in an alternate reality inspired by the one and only Doris Day.
