The National Theatre in Prague Celebrates Mozart's Birthday With a Concert

Join in for the two hundred and sixty-eighth birthday celebration of the musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with a January concert featuring, among other things, the finale of Act 2 of Le nozze di Figaro and the dramatic pinnacle of Don Giovanni.

Celebrate Mozart's 268th Birthday in grand style at the Estates Theatre with a mesmerizing concert featuring The National Theatre Orchestra, renowned soloists, and special guests from The National Theatre Opera and SO. Immerse yourself in the captivating performances of Kateřina Kněžíková, Ekaterina Krovateva, Pavol Kubáň, Lukáš Bařák, and other exceptional artists. 

This year's Birthday concert focuses on the enchanting finales of two of Mozart's masterpieces - the brilliantly eccentric finale of Act 2 from Le nozze di Figaro and the dramatic climax of Don Giovanni. Under the masterful baton of conductor Rubén Dubrovsky, experience a seamless blend of Mozart's operatic brilliance, expertly interpreted to perfection. 

In addition to these operatic gems, indulge in the timeless allure of Mozart's orchestral works. Be transported by the iconic Symphony No. 25 in G minor, whose first movement achieved cinematic fame in Miloš Forman's Amadeus.
