OBIE and Drama Desk Award-winning Transport Group brings you the world Premiere of HOUSE FOR SALE, the first of any work by National Book Award novelist and Pulitzer finalist JONATHAN FRANZEN (FREEDOM, THE CORRECTIONS) to be presented on stage. The show will play The Duke on 42nd Street (229 West 42nd Street, Times Square, NYC), beginning previews October 13, 2012, opening on October 24, 2012 and running through November 18, 2012.

SaltSpeck Productions presents a showcase production of Madam Fury's Traveling Show. Performances will take place from tonight, September 2 through September 8 at the 45th Street Theatre (354 W. 45th Street). Official Opening is set for tonight, September 2 at 8pm.

Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, will present the world premiere of House for Sale by Jonathan Franzen, adapted for the stage and directed by Daniel Fish, beginning previews October 13, 2012 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project. The opening night is scheduled for October 21, 2012. House for Sale is scheduled to run through November 18, 2012.

Surflight Theatre will present the New Jersey premiere of an all-new and entirely original musical comedy Once Upon A Time in New Jersey (described as "The Sopranos" meets "Happy Days") from August 28 through September 15.

Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director, and Tristan Wilson, Managing Director, presents a workshop production of the new musical The Black Suits with music and lyrics by Joe Iconis and book by Joe Iconis and Robert Emmett Maddock. The Black Suits is part of Barrington Stage's Musical Theatre Lab, William Finn, Artistic Producer. Directed by John Simpkins, choreographed by Jennifer Werner, with musical direction by James Sampliner, The Black Suits is currently running through September 2 at BSC's St. Germain Stage (formerly Stage 2). Everyman Theatre has announced a new series of Master Classes for the fall called "The Actor's Body." Designed for aspiring and professional actors, the series of three classes focuses on different movement techniques for the stage. The classes will take place on Monday evenings (6 PM to 9 PM) from September 10th through September 24th. Classes may be purchased individually or as the complete series.

The piece was arranged by the show's orchestrator Justin Hatchimonji and features a song from the Drama Desk-nominated score.

Transport Group Theatre Company, the winner of both a Special Drama Desk Award and Obie Award, has announced that that their award-winning 2010 production of See Rock City & Other Destinations will receive an original cast recording produced by Yellow Sound Label. The Drama Desk and Richard Rodgers Award-winning musical has music by Brad Alexander and book and lyrics by Adam Mathias. The show was directed by Transport Group Artistic Director Jack Cummings III.
