Now through 12 August, 2012, the Criterion Theatre presents Playing The Games, a programme of work that celebrates both artistic and sporting talent featuring emerging and established actors, comedians, musicians, playwrights and Olympians. As part of the programme, Sam Hodges, Producer of the Criterion Theatre, has commissioned two new plays by emerging British playwrights Serge Cartwright and Adam Brace in response to the presence of the Olympic Games in London. From 26 July - 12 August 2012, the Criterion Theatre will present Playing The Games, a programme of work which will celebrate both artistic and sporting talent featuring emerging and established actors, comedians, musicians, playwrights and Olympians. TEEN CHOICE 2012 will once again celebrate the hottest teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the web in the choicest, star-studded two-hour event airing live tonight, July 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Among the nominees are GLEE star Lea Michele and 'How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris.

Scissor Sisters, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Alan Ayckbourn, Daniel Barenboim, Rokia Traoré, Toni Morrison, Peter Sellars, Paco Peña, Simon Russell Beale, Hugh Masekela, Angelique Kidjo, Gong Linna, Sung Hwan Kim, Tom Hiddleston, Julie Walters, John Hurt, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Tracey Emin, and Bridget Riley are among the stars of London 2012 Festival's fifth week.

The next wave of nominees has been announced for TEEN CHOICE 2012, airing live Sunday, July 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Movies 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' and 'Snow White & The Huntsman' lead the second wave of TEEN CHOICE 2012 nominees with seven nominations each.

The second wave of nominees have been announced for the 2012 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS. Among the nominees are Broadway stars Sutton Foster, who has been nominated for Choice TV Breakout Female Star for her series 'Bunheads' and Andrew Garfield, nominated for Choice Summer Male Movie Star for his upcoming film 'The Amazing Spider-Man.'

IMAX Corporation, Marvel Studios and The Walt Disney Studios today announced that the epic Super Hero adventure Marvel's The Avengers will be released in the immersive IMAX 3D format in 451 digital theatres worldwide. Domestically, the film will be released in 275 theaters beginning today, May 4.

The hosts of ABC's THE VIEW welcome Hollywood superstars Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth to the show on today, MAY 4 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET), marking their very first guest appearance. The duo will promote their roles in the highly anticipated motion picture, 'Marvel's The Avengers,' opening in theaters today, May 4.

Disney announced today that Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre will present "Marvel's The Avengers" from today, May 4 through June 21, 2012.

Marvel Music/Hollywood Records previously announced the return of Soundgarden with the release of the band's first song in 15 years, 'Live to Rise.' The song will be featured in the end credits to this year's highly anticipated movie, 'Marvel's The Avengers.' 'Live to Rise' is included on Avengers Assemble, a 14-track compilation of music from and inspired by the film. Avengers Assemble will be released today, May 1, 2012.

The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express, announced today that Marvel's The Avengers, presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures, will close its 11th edition tonight, April 28. Closing night will take place at Tribeca BMCC PAC and is sponsored by BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® Gin.
