Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT), concludes its 2011 Nutmeg Summer Series with My Fair Lady, running July 7 - 17 in the Harriett S. Jorgensen Theatre (lower Jorgensen Auditorium) on the UConn Storrs campus. CRT is delighted to have soap opera legend Eileen Fulton, who portrayed Lisa Miller Grimaldi on As the World Turns for almost 50 years, starring as Mrs. Higgins in My Fair Lady.

Catch The Bouquet At Regional Premiere Of OUR SON'S WEDDING

FST will present the regional premiere of Our Son's Wedding. The new play had its world premiere at Gloucester Stage Company, and went on to a recent run at Lake George Dinner Theatre in New York. New York actress Marina Re returns to FST as the wife, Mary, after appearing as the mother in both The Miamians and Boleros for the Disenchanted. She also appeared in Our Son's Wedding at Lake George Dinner Theatre and Gloucester Stage in the same role. Marina's husband, actor Paul D'Amato, will join her on stage in what will surely be a chemistry filled portrayal of the couple Angelo and Mary Lo Presto.

Marc Kudisch Brings WHAT MAKES ME TICK to Feinstein's, 7/17-18

Feinstein's at Loews Regencywill continue its Summer 2011 season with the debut of three-time Tony Award nominated Broadway star Marc Kudisch on July 17 and 18. 'What Makes Me Tick' - his debut at the club - is an evening of casual conversation and great music, featuring popular selections from Broadway, country, and folk to fusion and jazz, all rolled into one big jam fest. Marc commented 'this concert is an attempt to understand how I got here and why I'm driven to be here: the inner working of what makes me tick,' says Kudisch. He will be joined by Music Director Timothy Splain, Ritt Henn on bass, and Michael Croiter on percussion. Both shows are at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Join Roger (played by writer/creator Matthew-Lee Erlbach) as he struggles to find success in his relationship, stand up career, and 'day jobs,' while navigating his way through a world with its own set of social conventions. 'Part One: Therapy' is already up online at www.RogertheChicken.com and youtube.com/RogerChicken. Part two premieres Sunday, July 3, with the following parts premiering on the next two Sundays.

A.R.T. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) opens its 2011-12 season with The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, by George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward, and Ira Gershwin. The adaptation by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks and Obie Award-winning composer Diedre L. Murray, directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus, with choreography by Ronald K. Brown, begins previews on August 17 and opens for the reviewing press on August 31 at 7pm. Performances are at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge. Tickets for preview performances are currently on sale, remaining tickets for the run go on sale on July 12.

New Georges (Susan Bernfield, Artistic Director; Sarah Cameron Sunde, Associate Director; Jaynie Saunders Tiller, Managing Director), the OBIE Award-winning downtown theater company founded in 1992, will present 'THE GERM PROJECT,' featuring the work of playwrights Kara Lee Corthron (directed by Kara-Lynn Vaeni), Lynn Rosen (directed by Shoshana Gold), Kathryn Walat (directed by Portia Krieger), and Anna Ziegler (directed by Beatrice Terry). The four 'germs' of full-length plays of scope and adventure commissioned by New Georges for this project will be presented together, fully produced, in a cohesive and satisfying ninety-minute intermission-less evening. There will be a connective thread to the pieces that will take place with visuals and storytelling. 'THE GERM PROJECT' will be performed at 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street (just south of Rector). Previews will begin on June 11, and the official Opening Night will be Monday, June 20 at 8:00 p.m. Performances will run through July 9.

Rehearsals are underway for the regional premiere of Our SOn'S Wedding by Donna de Matteo, which begins performances on July 6 in Florida Studio Theatre's Gompertz Theatre. Husband and wife duo, actors Marina Re and Paul D'Amato, are enjoying their time recreating the roles of Mary and Angelo Lo Presto for the show.
