Tokio Confidential (www.TokioConfidential.com), a new musical with words and music by Eric Schorr, will play Atlantic Theater Stage 2 (330 W. 16th Street) beginning February 5th at 7:00pm for a run through February 19th, it was announced today.

Casting has been completed for New York City Center's upcoming Encores! production of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, the first New York City Center Encores! production of the season. Merrily We Roll Along, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth, will be directed by James Lapine with music direction by Rob Berman and musical staging by Dan Knechtges. Merrily has been extended for a two-week run and will play for 15 performances, February 8-19, 2012, at New York City Center, 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues.

Broadway, next door to its current venue. With the acquisition of the former National Pastime space, Profiles now operates 3 theatres in total, including its long-time home at 4147 N. Broadway, as well as The Second Stage at 3408 N. Sheffield. In a Forest, Dark and Deep, directed by Joe Jahraus and featuring Co-Artistic Director Darrell W. Cox, runs April 13, 2012 - June 3, 2012 with the press opening on Thursday, April 19 at 8:00pm. The previously announced production of Neil LaBute's The Break of Noon will be postponed until next season.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company (Carl Forsman, Artistic Director/Damon Chua, Executive Director) today announced that John Cunningham would join Kathleen Chalfant and Kate Turnbull for Tina Howe's Painting Churches, the 1983 Pulitzer Prize finalist. Keen Artistic Director Carl Forsman directs. Mr. Cunningham replaces the previously announced Richard Easton, who had to withdraw due to a scheduling conflict. Performances will begin February 14, with Opening Night set for March 6.
