If you already have visions of sugar plums dancing in your head or just can't wait for Santa to slide down your chimney, you can start celebrating the holiday season with Mayo Performing Arts Center. There's the classic favorite New Jersey Ballet's Nutcracker (with performances to last you all 12 days of Christmas), rocking around the Christmas tree with some of your favorite '90s artists such as Mark McGrath and Lisa Loeb at The Band of Merrymakers, and tons of holiday cheer right here in Morristown. Heart and Flame Productions is thrilled to present a World Premiere Pop/Rock Musical, WE ARE THE TIGERS, book, music and lyrics by Rebekah M. Allen, musical direction by Patrick Sulken, choreography by Jacob Brent and directed by Michael Bello. WE ARE THE TIGERS is produced by Matthew P. Hui, Geri Silver and Evan Bernardin. WE ARE THE TIGERS recently completed an artistic residency at New York City's Musical Theatre Factory, where it presented two sold-out workshop performances earlier this month. WE ARE THE TIGERS will preview on Friday, October 2 at 8pm; Saturday, October 3 at 2pm & 8pm; Sunday, October 4 at 7pm; Friday, October 9 at 8pm & Saturday, October 10 at 2pm and will open on Saturday, October 10 at 8pm and run through Sunday, November 8 at the Hudson Backstage, 6539 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.

The North Carolina Symphony will pay tribute to iconic music and lavish shows in the finale of its 2014-15 Pops series, Pops Goes Vegas, tonight, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, at 8 p.m. in Meymandi Concert Hall in downtown Raleigh. The concert program, which features such classic numbers as 'Luck Be A Lady,' 'Hey, Big Spender,' 'Viva Las Vegas,' 'My Way,' and 'Fly Me to the Moon,' will be led by conductor Jack Everly, and will feature Martin Preston as Liberace, vocalists Scott Beck, Allison Briner, and Ted Keegan, and lead dancers Anne Nicole Beck and Jen Ladner.

Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly leads the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in performances of Singin' in the Rain,tonight, March 26, at 8 p.m. at The Music Center at Strathmore and Friday, March 27, at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 28, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, March 29, at 3 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Ranked by the American Film Institute (AFI) as the No. 1 movie musical of all time, Singin' in the Rain stars Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds, and features a lighthearted portrayal of iconic dance and memorable songs, including 'Make 'em Laugh,' 'Fit as a Fiddle' and more. On April 2-4, the Houston Symphony celebrates the iconic pop music of the United Kingdom inU.K. Rocks. Storm Large from the group Pink Martini and J. Robert Spencer of the Midtown Men perform songs ranging from The Beatles to contemporary artists such as Coldplay and Adele in this "across the pond" spectacle.
