The New Literature from Europe Festival, New York City's top European literary event, returns in its 13th year to present best-selling, award-winning, and emerging authors from across the continent. The four-day festival welcomes more than 40 authors, journalists, poets and translators in events at bookstores, theatres, and special venues throughout New York City from December 7 to 10. Curated and produced by 20 Square Feet Productions, the programs feature readings, conversations, and panel discussions with European and American literary luminaries.

YoungArts Announces Miami Art Week Events

During this year's Art Basel Miami Beach, the National YoungArts Foundation will host two visual arts exhibitions on their Miami campus, including the debut of a new body of work by José Parlá and an installation of rarely seen masterworks from the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection, as well as a booth at PULSE Miami Beach Contemporary Art Fair. Co-curated by Naomi Fisher (1994 YoungArts Winner in Visual Art) and Luisa Munera, YoungArts Artistic Programs Coordinator, the booth will feature works by ten YoungArts alumni.

On November 5, 2016, the National YoungArts Foundation will premiere five collaborative short films created by YoungArts alumni as the season's first Outside the Box event, which takes place outdoors and is free to the public.

Michael Clark Company to Make Miami Debut

The Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami and the National YoungArts Foundation are proud to present ICA Performs: Michael Clark Company, the Miami debut of Great Britain's renowned dance company. Hailed as "British dance's true iconoclast," Clark and his distinctive choreography combine technical rigor and experimentation through interpretations of ballet, punk, Dada, pop and rock. In October 2016, Michael Clark Company began a month-long artist residency with ICA Miami on the YoungArts Campus that will culminate in five public presentations. The debut public performance will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 7:30pm in the YoungArts Jewel Box.

The Byrd Hoffman Water Mill Foundation celebrated its 23rd Annual Summer Benefit & Auction, a one-of-a-kind evening bringing together over 1,000 guests from the worlds of theater, art, performance, fashion, design, and society at The Watermill Center on Saturday, July 30.
