Continuing its commitment to bringing free Shakespeare to the community and strengthening audience engagement with the arts, The Public Theater will mount its MOBILE SHAKESPEARE UNIT again this October with a free three-week tour to the five boroughs of Shakespeare's PERICLES, PRINCE OF TYRE, directed by Rob Melrose.

A far right protest in the Scottish town of Dumfries inspires this tale of a young man caught up in a world of skin heads and racist violence. About The Author:
Born on December 2, 1988 in Farmville, Virginia, Ryan began writing poetry while a student at Prince Edward County High School, which during that 4 year span he decided to make writing a future career path. Good friend Jason Paris was one of the first to notice Ryan's ability with writing and gave him the nickname Ryan the Poet. At age 15, Ryan began entering Poetry Contest placing in the top 20 in each of his writing entries. Ryan once stated 'Writing for me has become a huge part of my life for me to express myself through poetry and storytelling.' Today, he continues to write poetry as well as being an activist and helping others when in need.
