48 HOURS: DEVIL'S ISLAND was Saturday's #1 program with viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Jan. 21.

National Geographic extreme filmmaker Bryan Smith is the second speaker on the new National Geographic Live! Series at the Fred Kavli Theatre on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 8:00 pm.

This weekend marked the first weekend in a three-weekend run of BILLY ELLIOT at Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts. It's not very often that I walk into a theater to see a show that I know little to nothing about, and it's usually a nice surprise. This production was no exception. If you're like me and have no prior knowledge on what BILLY ELLIOT is about other than dancing, rest assured that along with wonderful dancing comes a very touching story about a boy who is trying to pursue his newfound dream while earning his father's affection during a very trying time in history. In other words, expect to be impressed.

The Cincinnati Arts Association (CAA) is pleased to present the Griffin Theatre Company's production of Ghosts of War: The True Story of a 19-Year-Old GI by Ryan Smithson, adapted for the stage by William Massolia, today, December 9, 2016 at 8:00 PM at the Aronoff Center's intimate Jarson-Kaplan Theater. CBS's 48 HOURS: “Buried Truth” was Saturday's #1 non-sports program with viewers and adults 25-54, and delivered the broadcast's largest audience since April, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 12.

The symbolic nature of Suzan-Lori Parks' 1990 free-form dramatic riff, THE DEATH OF THE LAST BLACK MAN IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD AKA THE NEGRO BOOK OF THE DEAD is made apparent to viewers as soon as they open their programs and see the characters have names like 'Black Woman With Fried Drumstick,' 'Before Columbus' and 'Lots of Grease and Lots of Pork.'

Due to popular demand, the Signature Theatre production of The Death of the Last Black Man in the Whole Entire World AKA the Negro Book of the Dead, by Pulitzer Prize-winner Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz, has been extended an additional week. The production will now run through December 18, 2016 at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).
