Jane Fonda, star of 33 VARIATIONS, told David Letterman last evening that the show had been successful and rewarding and that producers, cast and crew were desperate to continue with the show. She's hoping that it will tour the United States in 2010, which is when the actress, who has 3 films, a book and knee surgery scheduled will next be free.

PBS will air Spike Lee's film adaptation of PASSING STRANGE in 2010. The film recently had its New York premiere when it played the Tribeca Film festival. Passing Strange will air as part of PBS' 'Great Performances'.

The interview will repeat on CUNY TV, channel 75 on Saturday, May 2nd at 8:30PM; Sunday, May 3rd at 12:30PM; and Monday, May 4th at 7:30 AM, 1:30PM, and 7:30PM. Jane sits down with Theater Talk's Susan Haskins and Michael Riedel to discuss her return to Broadway in Moisés Kaufman's new play 33 Variations.
