Minnelli & DeRosa On New BOARDWALK EMPIRE Soundtrack

Living legend Liza Minnelli and Broadway regular Stephen DeRosa appear on the new soundtrack for BOARDWALK EMPIRE: VOLUME 2, out later this month, according to the new track-listing just revealed for the HBO hit as it enters its fourth season.

Bay Street Theatre is announcing that August's Summer Music Theater Camps; August 5-9; and August 12-16 have only a few spaces left. The camps are for students aged 8 through 12, and run Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 12:30 pm daily at Studio 3 in Bridgehampton. Each week long camp includes many aspects of theatre including improv, vocal instruction, dance and more. This summer's first and last week of camp will be led by Karen Peele Hochstedler. Classes held during August 5-9 will be led by Christine Martinez and Bobby Peterson.

Pink Martini Plays Morrison Center Tonight

Since bursting onto the scene in 1997 with the jazzy 'Sympathique' (beloved for its slacker-anthem lyrics 'Je ne veux pas travailler'), Portland ensemble Pink Martini has made its mark with an upbeat multilingual repertoire of pop, classical, jazz and big band. Fronted by pianist Thomas Lauderdale, the band has performed with more than 50 orchestras, and collaborated with a wild array of artists, from Rufus Wainwright, Carol Channing and Chavela Vargas to Japanese icon Saori Yuki, filmmaker Gus Van Sant and the cast of SESAME STREET. Singer Storm Large will be performing in Boise.

KING KONG Extends Through October 6 in Melbourne

The new stage musical KING KONG recently opened at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne, Australia. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the show is already casting its eye towards Broadway, with a hopeful launch as early as 2014. New York City Opera is pleased to announce casting for numerous roles in its 2013-14 productions: Anna Nicole, a co-production with BAM that kicks off the 2013 Next Wave Festival, September 17 - 28 at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House; Johann Christian Bach's Endimione, February 8 - 16, 2014 at El Museo del Barrio; Bluebeard's Castle, a co-production with St. Ann's Warehouse, February 28 - March 15, 2014; and The Marriage of Figaro, April 19 - April 26, 2014 at New York City Center. Joni Mitchell played a rare concert this past Wednesday night in Toronto as part of the Luminato Festival. The 70 year old singer/songwriter was being honoured in an evening filled with musical luminaries performing her classic songs. Originally scheduled to only do a reading after the pre-arranged performances, Joni delighted the audience by performing three songs in addition to telling some incredible stories.

Aqui me encuentro en Madrid, cinco dias desde que aterrice en Barajas despues de estar dos meses en Australia. La aventura comienzo en marzo cuando, de casualidad, hice un casting para una 'nueva serie' secreta de la NBC en Londres. A los pocos dias me dicen que me han seleccionado para el papel de Miguel Santos en la serie Camp, con Rachel Griffiths (Cinco Hermanos, A Dos Metros Bajo Tierra). No hace falta explicar la alegria y la euforia que senti al cumplir uno de mis mas grandes sueños. AMERICAN TV!!!
