Hollywood's newest venue, Prospect Theatre, will revive Hollywood with an avant-garde take on theatre, music and fine-dining. ABC's "The Fosters" Creator Bradley Bredeweg will premier his dynamic rock musical, "Romeo & Juliet: Love is a Battlefield Volume 2" and Executive Chef Kyle Schutte will kick-off opening weekend on Friday, July 8, and Saturday, July 9 at 8 p.m. at 1643 Cosmo St.

Festival Ballet Providence's (FBP) 2016-2017 Season will feature reimagined adaptations and fresh perspectives including a new production of Romeo & Juliet, which fuses dance and spoken word in a multidisciplinary collaboration.

The McKittrick Hotel's recently announced The Wizard of Oz-themed Supercinema-which is set to take place during NYC Pride Weekend-will benefit Equality Florida Pulse Victims Fund and Everytown for Gun Safety to stand in solidarity with the LGBT community and its allies in response to the national tragedy that occurred in Orlando, Florida this week. Director Ellen Geer re-sets William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in East Jerusalem, kicking off the 2016 summer repertory season at Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum's outdoor amphitheater on June 11.

We Players will present Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet at the historic Rancho Petaluma Adobe State Historic Park in August/ September 2016.

Montalvo Arts Center presents a one-of-a-kind, interactive theater experience this fall when it hosts We Players, presenting Romeo & Juliet at Villa Montalvo. In this site-integrated production audiences will be on their feet, following the action to various locations throughout Montalvo's grounds-including its illustrious Mediterranean-style Villa-as they viscerally experience the timeless drama of feuding families and star-crossed lovers. New York's most dynamic new dance party, Supercinema, returns this month with The Emerald City Ball in honor of The Wizard of Oz on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at The McKittrick Hotel (530 W 27th Street, New York, NY), home of Sleep No More.  Supercinema, a one-of-a-kind nightlife experience told through a cinematic lens, invites guests to a music-and-live-performance-filled dance party inspired by the world of that month's film or film series, as with recent installments that immersed partygoers in worlds of Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet in February, James Bond 007 in March, Alice in Wonderland in April, and most recently The Great Gatsby in May.  Each Supercinema party requires guests arrive in costumes inspired by the film, which for The Wizard of Oz means dressing as Dorothy Gale, Tin Woodman, Scarecrow, Wicked Witch of the West, Cowardly Lion, Glinda (Good Witch), Flying Monkey, Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, The Wizard, Emerald City Citizen (All Green), Rainbow Attire, Lollipop Guild, or Lullaby League.  The evening features scenic installations, pop-up theatrical performances, costumes galore and an all-night open bar with your ticket.  Ticket packages are on-sale now.  For info and tickets, visit SupercinemaNYC.com.

Bill Hanney's award winning Theatre By The Sea (TBTS) presents the beloved musical classic, WEST SIDE STORY. Shakespeare's immortal 'Romeo & Juliet' is transported to 20th century New York City, where two idealistic young lovers, with only their love in common, find themselves caught between warring street gangs and clashing cultures. WEST SIDE STORY runs from Wednesday, June 22 thru Saturday, July 16, 2016.

The Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company presents Romeo and Juliet, the fifth production in the inaugural Plays at the Garrick season. The cast features Lily James (Juliet), Richard Madden (Romeo), Derek Jacobi (Mercutio), Meera Syal as the Nurse. Romeo and Juliet opened at the Garrick Theatre on 12 May until 13 August.  Press night was 25 May. The production will be broadcast live to cinemas on 7 July.

The Hypocrites will conclude its 2015-16 Season with the world premiere of JOHANNA FAUSTUS, co-adapted by Emily Casey and Artistic Director Sean Graney from Christopher Marlowe's The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus and directed by Graney. JOHANNA FAUSTUS will play a limited engagement now through May 29, 2016 at The Den Theatre's Heath Main Stage, 1329 N. TNT has ordered 10 episodes of WILL, a brand new drama that tells the wild story of young William Shakespeare, played by newcomer Laurie Davidson.

Nevada Ballet Theatre (NBT) concludes its 44thSeason with the most famous tale of star-crossed lovers, Romeo & Juliet. In recognition of the 400th Anniversary of William Shakespeare's death, this revered tragedy will be presented tonight, May 14 at 7:30 pm and tomorrow, May 15 at 2 pm in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, 361 Symphony Park Avenue.

The Public Theater opened the MOBILE UNIT'S ROMEO & JULIET on Friday, April 15. Directed by Lear deBessonet, the sit-down run of ROMEO & JULIET follows a three-week tour of the five boroughs, bringing Shakespeare to audiences who have limited or no access to the arts. Continuing Artistic Director Oskar Eustis' 10th Anniversary season, the Shakespeare classic began previews on Monday, April 11 and will run in The Public's Shiva Theater through Sunday, May 1.
