Full casting has been announced for the upcoming national tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams. Tickets for the Miami premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will go on sale to Arsht Center members on August 15 and to the general public on August 22, as announced by the Arsht Center and Broadway Across America.

JERSEY BOYS opened on Broadway to critical acclaim on November 6, 2005 at the August Wilson Theatre. The show is currently playing in New York; Las Vegas; London; Sydney, Australia; in cities across the U.S. on a National Tour and it will open in Auckland, New Zealand in April, 2012. JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical, will break two records in two days.

The stars of Broadway's Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning JERSEY BOYS, will appear on NBC's 'Access Hollywood Live' tomorrow, Tuesday, August 9. In the New York area, it airs at 11:00am Eastern. Check local listings for times outside the New York tri-state area.

Joining the previously announced Tony Awardâ nominee Douglas Sills as Gomez and Sara Gettelfinger as Morticia are Tony Awardâ nominee Martin Vidnovic as Mal Beineke, two-time Tony Awardâ nominee Crista Moore as Alice Beineke, Blake Hammond as Uncle Fester, Pippa Pearthree as Grandma, Tom Corbeil as Lurch, Patrick D. Kennedy as Pugsley, Brian Justin Crum as Lucas Beineke and Cortney Wolfson as Wednesday.

On August 21st, at 9pm at The Living Room at 154 Ludlow St, The Cast of Jersey Boys is singing selections from The Hall And Oates songbook, including hits like: Maneater, Private Eyes, Rich Girl, You Make My Dreams, and many more.

Stage and screen star Brooke Shields will extend her run as Morticia in the hit musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY for an additional two months through Saturday, December 31 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). Shields had originally planned to end her limited engagement on Sunday, October 30. 'I am having the time of my life playing Morticia with this wonderful company of actors. Morticia is such a delicious role and THE ADDAMS FAMILY is such a fantastic and iconic piece of entertainment that I just couldn't resist the invitation to extend,' said Shields.

The Mayor of Auckland, Len Brown, announced that the world-wide smash hit production of JERSEY BOYS will open at The Civic in Auckland, New Zealand in April 2012.

Single tickets for the national tour of the new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will go on sale Sunday, August 7 at Noon. With one year to go until the start of the London Olympic Games 2012, the producers of JERSEY BOYS are offering people the chance to buy top-price tickets to see the multi award-winning musical in London during the Olympics and Paralympics weeks in 2012 for just £20.12 each. These special tickets are available from today, Wednesday 27 July 2011 until 20 December 2011 and can be purchased in person from the Box Office at the Prince Edward Theatre, or on 0844 482 5151, or at www.jerseyboyslondon.com. These tickets would normally cost £65 weekdays and £67.50 at the weekend. The special price includes a £1 restoration levy and the normal transaction/booking fees apply (£1.75 via the ‘phone and website, but £0 in person at the counter).

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that The Select (The Sun Also Rises), created by Elevator Repair Service (ERS) based on Ernest Hemingway's novel, The Sun Also Rises, and directed by John Collins, will begin performances Friday, August 19 at 7pm, at NYTW, 79 East 4th Street, between Second Avenue and Bowery.
