The Chicago Sun-Times has reported that director Lonny Price is mulling over the prospect of a Ravinia Festival production of Gypsy starring Patti LuPone

The complete cast for the upcoming, and highly anticipated revival starring Patti LuPone and Michael Cerveris has now been anounced. Previews begin on October 3, for a November 3, 2005 opening.

More performers have been cast in the Ravinia Festival's concert staging of Anyone Can Whistle, which will play on August 26th and 27th with Audra McDonald, Patti LuPone and Michael Cerveris

Reported first here on BroadwayWorld, Michael Cerveris is now confirmed, and Patti LuPone is said to be next for the Sweeney Todd revival.

Michael Cerveris has written music for Nick Philipou (The Art Party) and Michael Tisdale's adaptation of Goethe's The Sorrows of Young Werther. The new play with music receives its premiere at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in the Burrows Theater.
