Lunar River in association with Mack Sennett Studios has announced the world premiere of Salome, a radically queer reinvention of the ancient tale, written by Christopher Adams-Cohen and directed by Patrick Kennelly. Salome will run for four weeks only with two preview performances on January 31 and February 4 at 8pm. Opening is set for Friday, February 5 at 8pm. Salome will run through February 28 at The Basement at Mack Sennett Studios.

Duncan Sheik has a busy year ahead of him! Contributing music to The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey, which just opened at the Westside Theatre, he now travels to Poughkeepsie to work on his new musical, Noir, at Vassar's 2015 Powerhouse season. Soon after, rehearsals begin for the first Broadway revival of Spring Awakening, and then he starts preparing for the Broadway transfer of his musical version of American Psycho. New York Stage and Film has announced its inaugural Filmmakers' Workshop, which launches July 7th on Vassar's campus as part of New York Stage and Film & Vassar's 31st Powerhouse Season.
