Ghotslight Records will release the New Broadway Cast Recording of the critically acclaimed and Tony-winning new Broadway production of ANYTHING GOES this summer. The Public Theater began previews yesterday, June 6 for the 2011 Shakespeare in the Park summer season featuring MEASURE FOR MEASURE, directed by David Esbjornson, and ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL, directed by Daniel Sullivan. The Public Theater began previews on Monday, June 6 for the 2011 Shakespeare in the Park summer season featuring MEASURE FOR MEASURE, directed by David Esbjornson, and ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL, directed by Daniel Sullivan. The two shows will run in repertory with the same company of actors through Saturday, July 30 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Last night marked the official launch gala for the 2011 Shakespeare in the Park season and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the photo op!

After garnering some of the best reviews of the season, Born Yesterday is set to close following the matinee on Sunday, June 26; it will have played 28 previews and 73 performances. The production, which stars Jim Belushi, Robert Sean Leonard, and Nina Arianda, opened Sunday, April 24, at Broadway's Cort Theatre, 138 West 48 Street. Doug Hughes directed the classic Garson Kanin comedy.

The producers of Driving Miss Daisy have just announced on the Tony red carpet that the Broadway production will play a limited engagement in London for 12 weeks beginning in October with the Broadway cast, including James Earl Jones, Vanessa Redgrave and Boyd Gaines. The strictly limited engagement of THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON played its final performance on Sunday, May 29th at 3:00PM. Now, Variety reports that the play managed to 'overcome the bad press to achieve a hair's-breadth recoupment of its $2.75 million capitalization.'
