Utah Symphony | Utah Opera Vice President of Symphony Artistic Planning Toby Tolokan yesterday announced the concert lineup for the organization's Tenth Anniversary Deer Valley Music Festival, featuring Utah Symphony performances with high-profile artists such as actor and banjo player Steve Martin with the Steep Canyon Rangers and vocalist Edie Brickell, screen actor and Broadway star Mandy Patinkin, folk rock music duo Indigo Girls and jazz trumpeter Arturo Sandoval.

The Broadway Dreams recently made their west coast debut last week at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. The week-long Summer Performing Arts Intensive culminated in a performance of CIRCLE OF DREAMS, a unique Broadway concert event featuring performances by Broadway favorites including Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Craig D'Amico (Annie Get Your Gun), Quentin Earl Darrington (Ragtime), Andrew Palermo (Wicked), Nicole Parker (MadTV,Wicked), Ryann Redmond (Bring It On: The Musical) and more alongside a talented roster of Los Angeles area BDF students. The Broadway Dreams Foundation will present Circle of Dreams, a unique Broadway concert open to the public, at UCLA's Freud Playhouse tonight, June 22 at 7:30pm. This culmination of a week-long Summer Performing Arts Intensive will be directed by Olivier Award-nominated Stafford Arima (bare, Altar Boyz, Ragtime), choreographed by Emmy Award-nominee Spencer Liff (So You Think You Can Dance, Smash), and will feature veteran Broadway performers alongside a talented roster of LA area BDF students.

The tenth anniversary Deer Valley Music Festival continues into its third week with a combination of two show-stopping productions. Broadway stars will steal the show in 'Bravo Broadway: The Wicked Divas' on Friday, July 12, and trumpeter Arturo Sandoval will blow the audience away when he performs Latin, jazz and classical music alongside the Utah Symphony on Saturday, July 13.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation will give aspiring performers across the country their big break with "Circle of Dreams," the 2013 Summer Performing Arts Intensive Tour. The national non-profit training program will present an incredible roster of Broadway directors, performers and industry insiders who will offer musical theatre training, mentoring and career opportunities through unique, week-long performing arts intensive workshops for students of all ages.

This summer's most spectacular Hollywood blockbuster will not be found in the movie theater this year but rather at Rockwell: Table & Stage with For The Record: Zemeckis. Over the past two years the 'For The Record' series has brought the movies to life as never seen before in a stunning 360-degree live theatrical concert experience. For The Record: Zemeckis officially opened Friday, May 31, 2013. Weekly performances are Thursday -Sunday at 8:30PM and will run through Saturday, July 20. MCC Theater presented its annual Miscast gala last night, March 4, 2013 at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street). Miscast 2013 honored Tony Award winner Judith Light (Other Desert Cities) for her illustrious screen and stage career (appearing on Broadway this year for her third straight season, this time in Richard Greenberg's upcoming The Assembled Parties), her work with MCC Theater (acclaimed performances in Colder Than Here and Wit), and her impassioned advocacy of several causes, including Arts in Education.
