The Chicago Tribune just announced that THIS IS OUR YOUTH by Kenneth Lonergan is headed to Chicago, then Broadway this summer, guided by producer Scott Rudin and directed by Anna D. Shapiro. It will star Michael Cera, Kieran Culkin and Tavi Gevinson.

PS3 Charrette Elementary School NYC has announced a benefit reading of Kenneth Lonergan's This Is Our Youth on Monday, June 10 at 7pm at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42 Street. The reading will feature original cast members Josh Hamilton, Mark Ruffalo, and Missy Yager, and will be directed by original director Mark Brokaw.

Naked Angels company members Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are Honorary Co-Chairs for the event. Conceived as an imagined history of Naked Angels - and promising to be bigger than all of the company's previous parties put together - One Big Ball will be a frivolous and inauthentic romp through Naked Angels' 25 years, written and performed by Naked Angels members, with many friends and surprise guests. The production, which follows a couple who endeavors to achieve the ultimate relationship via therapy, runs through May 9 at Mineral's Lounge Theater 2. Mike O'Malley, Mineral's Artistic Director who has guest starred on GLEE, produces. Missy Yager directs.

The New Group is presenting the world premiere of The Starry Messenger as the first production in its 2009-2010 season. This production is playing a limited Off-Broadway engagement, that began previews on October 26 with an official opening night on November 23. The production was initially slated to close on December 12.
