The Cast of GAME ON is Ready to Compete at Pittsburgh CLO!

Pittsburgh CLO is proud to announce the cast of the world premiere of GAME ON , November 9, 2018 - January 27, 2019 at the CLO Cabaret. GAME ON is the second musical to be given a world premiere from Pittsburgh CLO's inaugural SPARK festival, which showcased musicals designed to cultivate the next generation of small-cast shows that will thrive in small venues around the country. Series creator Laura Chinn ('The Mick') will star alongside Laci Mosley ('The Wedding Year'), Melanie Field ('Heathers') and Patty Guggenheim ('Splitting Up Together,' 'LA to Vegas') in Pop TV's newest scripted comedy, FLORIDA GIRLS, which starts production in early October. Inspired by Chinn's real life growing up on the West Coast of Florida, the 10-episode series follows four women who are forced to confront their stagnant lives when their only ambitious friend moves away to follow her dreams.

Cleopatra Entertainment has secured the North American and UK distribution rights to the 2018 SXSW Film Festival Official Selection documentary CONNY PLANK: THE POTENTIAL OF NOISE. The U.S. theatrical premiere is slated for 6:00 PM on Friday, September 28th at the Arena Cinelounge Theater in Los Angeles, and the film will run the entire week for a seven day engagement. In attendance at the premiere will be the film's co-director and son of the late Conny Plank, Stephan Plank, and the film's Berlin-based producer Milena Fessman, who will participate in an exclusive Q&A following the screening. 

ESPN Films Announces Upcoming 30 FOR 30 Documentaries

The award-winning ESPN Films group continues to produce some of the best sports storytelling content in the industry, announcing today several new projects that will debut over the next few months. 30 for 30 documentaries on Junior Seau, the Mike Tyson/Buster Douglas fight and Deion Sanders headline the new slate, with 'The Last Days of Knight' making its television debut after premiering on ESPN+ in April. Additionally, a new 30 for 30 Short, 'Sonic Break,' will air in September, and 30 for 30 Podcasts will return for its fourth season in October.

 Cleopatra Entertainment has acquired the North American rights to the new adventure film CHINA SALESMAN, produced by China's Wanda Corporation, which was written and directed by Chinese filmmaker Tan Bing. The film, with a reported budget of over $20 million, stars Mike Tyson, Steven Seagal, Dong-Xue Li, Janicke Askevold and Li Ai, with Eriq Ebouaney rounding out the cast. CHINA SALESMAN premieres theatrically this spring and had previously been a high profile title at last year's AFM.
