The Broadway League announced the honorees of the Broadway League Awards, honoring excellence and achievement for Touring Broadway, during the League's recent 2010 Spring Road Conference. First presented in 1992, the Broadway League Awards recognize the contributions of those who have displayed exemplary service to the Broadway industry and are considered innovators of their craft.

After breaking box office records and selling out in record time in 2005 & 2007, WICKED, the smash-hit musical, will return to the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis, June 16-July 11. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale Sunday, April 18 at noon. Tickets will be available at the Fox Theatre box office, all MetroTix locations, online at www.metrotix.com or by phone at 314-534-1111. Orders for groups of 20 or more may be placed by calling 314-535-2900. Ticket prices range from $33 - $80 depending on performance date and seat location. Tony Award-winning actor Michael Rupert, who originated the role of Professor Callahan on Broadway, will be reprising the role on the LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL tour. Ken Land, who has played the morally dubious lawyer since the tour launched in September 2008, has joined the Broadway revival of Promises, Promises. Rupert's first performance in Denver will be Wednesday, February 10, 2010.

As BroadwayWorld first reported and broke the story on this past Saturday evening, the star of the national tour of LEGALLY BLONDE Becky Gulsvig, who has received rave reviews for her performance as Elle Woods across the country, sustained a broken toe following the performance on Thursday, January 8th and will be out of the show for the next six weeks.
