TV'S FUNNIEST ANIMATED STARS: A PALEY CENTER FOR MEDIA SPECIAL is set to air Monday, Dec. 7 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The two-hour special will honor the 40 most iconic, beloved and groundbreaking animated stars who have influenced generations of fans, created new dictionary entries (D'oh!), broken down barriers with irreverent social commentary and, most importantly, made us laugh.

Variety writes that NBC has canceled THE MICHAEL J. FOX SHOW after 15 episodes. The comedy -- which is the second recent cancellation by NBC after the network nixed SEAN SAVES THE WORLD -- had filmed a total of 22 episodes.

Lloyd will play 'the eccentric principal at the high school where Annie (Betsy Brandt) teaches and will go toe-to-toe with Mike (Michael J. Fox).'

TVGuide.com reports that Brooke Shields is set to star in a three-episode story arc as a love interest for Michael's teenage son Ian, played by Conor Romero.
