Tyne Daly, Ben Vereen, et al. to Be Inducted Into Theatre Hall of Fame

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Tyne Daly, Ben Vereen, Ann Roth, Daniel Sullivan, George White, Elliot Martin and Woodie King Jr., and Paul Sills will be inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame this year. The ceremony will take place on January 30, 2012, in the Gershwin Theatre. The event will be hosted by Estelle Parsons and hosted by Jerry Hodge Taylor.

The Adaptations Project proudly presents their inaugural production, Kaddish (or The Key in the Window), based on the poem by Allen Ginsberg. Kaddish (or The Key in the Window) is created and performed by Donnie Mather and directed by Kim Weild. Their most recent collaboration was WeildWorks' New York Premiere of Charles Mee's Fêtes de la Nuit, a 2010 Drama Desk Award nominee for Unique Theatrical Experience that also garnered 7 New York Innovative Theatre Award nominations, including Outstanding Director.

Tickets go on sale today (5 April 2011) for Ian Rickson's new production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal starring Kristin Scott Thomas, Douglas Henshall and Ben Miles. Betrayal, produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, will have its first preview at the Comedy Theatre on 27 May 2011 with press night on 16 June and is booking until 20 August 2011.

According to Whatsonstage.com, Rupert Everett and Kara Tointon are set to star in the West End transfer of Chichester Festival's Pygmalion. Everettwill be reprising the role of Higgins, and will be joined by director Philip Prose, who also took part in the Chichester production.
