From garage sales to a magical encounters in an attic this journey asks us to unpack the many 'things' that make up a legacy. What we leave, or don't leave behind? and How on earth do we let go?

Surrey Civic Theatres presents Merideth Kaye Clark Performs Joni Mitchell's BLUE Album, on March 27, 2019, at 7:30pm on the Main Stage at Surrey Arts Centre (13750 88 Avenue). Hailed as 'a masterful performer' (BroadwayWorld.com) with 'powerhouse pipes' (Seattle Times), Clark will perform Joni Mitchell's iconic BLUE album from beginning to end while playing the guitar and dulcimer, accompanied by Mont Chris Hubbard on piano and violin. This emotionally resonant performance will give Joni Mitchell fans the opportunity to experience the album anew, while conjuring the magic and memories of their initial encounter with this timeless music about love and loss. Ethereal songstress Raine Hamilton will open the evening with her prism-clear vocals, accompanied by violin, guitar, cello, and double bass to create a resonant chamber folk sound.

Set in the glamorous backdrop of Gracie's restaurant, Hotel deLuxe presents "Happy Days Are Here Again," a cabaret show celebrating the music of Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand, starring local sensations Susannah Mars and Merideth Kaye Clark, accompanied by David Saffert on the piano.

A Christmas Memory and Winter Song, the two-show pairing BroadwayWorld called "warm, nourishing, and just exactly what you want on a cold winter's night," returns to Portland Center Stage at The Armory. The production brings Truman Capote's beloved holiday story together with a gorgeous collection of winter songs, stories, and memories created by Brandon Woolley and Merideth Kaye Clark. A Christmas Memory paired with Winter Song begins preview performances on Nov. 24, opens on Nov. 30, and runs through Dec. 30 in the Ellyn Bye Studio. Woolley returns to direct, while Clark (Elphaba in the First National Tour of Wicked, Cathy in The Last Five Years at The Armory) and Leif Norby (Astoria: Part One and Two at The Armory) reprise their roles.

On February 20, Presidents' Day, Portland Sings! presents RISE UP: Portland Sings for Justice. A host of the Rose City's most talented artists will come together at Artists Repertory Theatre for an evening celebrating America's constitutional rights through song and story as a benefit for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Expect to hear some powerful folk ballads, show tunes and original works during this concert for Justice.
