The Smith Center's Opening Celebration will take place tonight at 7:00pm. ctor Neil Patrick Harris will host the celebration which will feature performances by Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson; country artists Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Emmylou Harris and Martina McBride; singer songwriter Carol King; trumpeter Arturo Sandoval; violinist Joshua Bell; gospel great Mavis Staples; Train lead singer Pat Monahan; and American Ballet Theater dancers Marcello Gomes and Luciana Paris.

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announced yesterday 35 new shows to its summer schedule at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. Tickets are on sale now to members and go on sale Saturday, March 24 at 10am to the public.

The Smith Center's Opening Celebration will take place Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 7:00pm. Shaina continues her weekly Monday night acoustic residency at Rockwood Music Hall, playing every Monday night in March at 9 PM, featuring brand new original music and songs off her record, What Otters Do. She'll play March 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th.
