The Tony Award®-winning Hartford Stage, under the leadership of Darko Tresnjak, Artistic Director, and Michael Stotts, Managing Director, proudly announces the lineup of programming for the theater's 2012-13 season, the first chosen under Darko Tresnjak's artistic leadership.

This spring, Center Stage Theatre of Shelton will debut the romantic comedy ENCHANTED APRIL, written by Matthew Barber, adapted from the novel by Elizabeth von Arnim. The show runs March 23 through April 14 at Center Stage Theatre, 54 Grove Street, Shelton, CT 06484.

Center Stage Theatre is seeking three men, ages 25 to 55, and five women, ages 25 to 75, for the Tony Award-nominated romantic comedy ENCHANTED APRIL by Matthew Barber from the novel by Elizabeth von Arnim.

Emmy Award winner ERIC McCORMACK will return to Broadway as presidential contender Joseph Cantwell in the star-studded cast of the 2012 Broadway revival of Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN. Reported first by Variety, he revealed last night while being honored with the Monte Cristo Award at Bridgewaters-South Street Seaport that starring alongside him will be five-time Tony Winner Angela Lansbury making her return to the stage after most recently appearing as Madame Armfeldt in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC.

The New York Times reports today that following his stint in DRIVING MISS DAISY, James Earl Jones will be hanging around Broadway a bit longer, assuming the role of Arthur Hockstader in the revival of Gore Vidal's 'The Best Man.' The production is scheduled to open in the spring of 2012. Orphan's Home Cycle director Michael Wilson will helm the revival. The plot centers around chief executive Hockstader trying to decide which presidental nominees to support: William Russell and Joe Cantwell.
