Manhattan Theatre Club and MCC Theater's world premiere of Sharr White's THE SNOW GEESE, ends its acclaimed engagement at MTC's Samuel J. FriedmanTheatre (261 West 47th Street) today at 8 PM. As of tonight, the production will have played 25 previews and 60 regular performances.

This talented family will perform a host of holiday favorites and tunes from their various forays on the Great White Way in the tradition of the Andy Williams Christmas specials that mesmerized them as children. On Saturday, December 7, TheatreWorks opened the Broadway musical 'Little Women' to an enthusiastic, sold-out crowd in Palo Alto, CA. After the performance, attendees emerged into the courtyard of the Lucie Stern Theatre to find snow - make with theatre magic! - followed by a champagne reception and meet-and-greet with the cast. Westport Country Playhouse announced its winter Script in Hand playreadings with "Mary, Mary," a witty romantic comedy about a marriage gone hilariously awry, by Jean Kerr, on Monday, February 10, at 7 p.m., and "Pack of Lies," a provocative thriller about spying, by Hugh Whitemore, on Monday, March 10, at 7 p.m. Director of both Script in Hand playreadings is Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Casting for both readings will be announced soon. Tickets to each Script in Hand playreading are $15.

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) and The Countess of Storyville, LLC will present a developmental workshop of The Countess of Storyville, a new musical by R.M. Cohen (book), Martin Silvestri (music), and Joel Higgins (lyrics). This epic story of lust, love, mystery and murder will feature Tony Award nominee Vivian Reed and Grammy Award nominee Deborah Cox leading a cast of 23. Performances are set to begin on February 12, 2014 at The Peter J. Sharp Theatre (416 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) and continue through February 14. Lynne Taylor-Corbett directs.

Friends in Theater Company has announced the 2014 production Once on this Island. The one-night-only production will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York and Western New York and is set to be Curtis Holbrook's directorial debut with the company. Once on this Island, one of contemporary theatre's best-loved musicals will be presented on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 7:30pm at the Lucille Lortel Theater (121 Christopher Street New York, NY 10014).
