Berkshire Theatre Group and Artistic Director/CEO, Kate Maguire, are thrilled to announce the casting for Berkshire Theatre Group's 87th summer season.

Patti LuPone will receive the Ellis Island Family Heritage Award at The Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island Foundation's 'Gala in the Great Hall' on Tuesday, May 19th at the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration.

Four time Grammy Award winner Renee Fleming makes her Broadway debut alongside Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills, two-time Emmy Award nominee Anna Chlumsky, Jerry O'Connell, Blake Hammond and Scott Robertson in Living on Love by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin, and directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. For one night only on Saturday, May 9 at 7:30pm, Broadway legend Patti LuPone will perform in her critically-acclaimed concert, Far Away Places, conceived and directed by Scott Wittman with musical arrangements by Joseph Thalken at Pace University's Schimmel Center. A Broadway superstar for more than 30 years, Ms. LuPone is a two-time Tony Winner (Best performance by a leading actress) for Evita and Gypsy; an Olivier recipient (for her performance in London's LES MISERABLES); and a two-time Grammy winner (Best Classical recording and Best Opera recording for Rise and Fall of Mahagonny). Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein are delighted to announce that Sarah Ruhl's For Peter Pan on her 70th birthday will receive its world premiere at Actors Theatre of Louisville during the 40th Humana Festival of New American Plays. For Peter Pan on her 70th birthday was commissioned by Actors Theatre of Louisville and will be directed by Les Waters and performed in the Pamela Brown Auditorium. The production will begin previews on March 8, open on March 10 and run through April 10, 2016.

Originally from Oklahoma, Broadway superstar Kelli O'Hara has been thrilling New York audiences as Anna Leonowens in Lincoln Center Theater's Broadway revival of THE KING AND I. While she is busy putting the final touches on this cherished, classic role before the critics take their seats for opening night, I am exploring her charismatic solo albums WONDER IN THE WORLD, a collection of classic tunes arranged and orchestrated by Harry Connick, Jr., and ALWAYS, a collection of music from Broadway shows and gifted musical writers.

One of the theater world's most prestigious playwriting prizes, the Yale Drama Series Prize, will be given to Barbara Seyda for her play Celia, A Slave: 26 Characters Testify. The 2015 award recipient was chosen by playwright Nicholas Wright, who serves as judge for the 2015 and 2016 competitions.

Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the Writers Theatre production of Doubt: A Parable by John Patrick Shanley, directed by William Brown. The show runs April 28 - July 19, 2015 at Glencoe Union Church, 263 Park Ave, Glencoe. The Press Openings are Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7.
