Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Today's big news: 'NO END OF BLAME' and GOOD begin this evening off-Broadway!

The Broadway-themed drama OPENING NIGHT will be released this fall. Directed by Isaac Rentz, the film stars Topher Grace, Lauren Lapkus, Alona Tal, Taye Diggs, Anne Heche, J.C. Chasez, Rob Riggle, Paul Scheer, Brian Husky and Lesli Margherita (MATILDA, DAMES AT SEA).

?The new musical, A SCYTHE OF TIME will be presented as part of the New York Musical Theatre festival at the June Havoc Theatre (312 W 36th Street). A Scythe of Time is written by Alan Harris with music and lyrics by Mark Alan Swanson. It will be directed by David Alpert (IF/THEN), with musical direction by Ryan Cantwell (National Tour: Pippin, Finding Neverland).  It will begin performances on July 21 and will run through July 26, 2016. Tickets are $27.50 and can be purchased by visiting NYMF.org.

On Monday, June 27th, the Theater People podcast welcomes Broadway favorite Betsy Wolfe. She made her Broadway debut in the 2007 production of 110 IN THE SHADE, and in 2010, she returned to Broadway in EVERYDAY RAPTURE.
