The Hollywood Bowl has enlisted some top Broadway talent for the Los Angeles Master Chorale's concert presentations of WEST SIDE STORY this summer. Conducted by Gustavo Dudamel July 14, through July 19, the cast features Jeremy Jordan as Tony, Karen Olivo, who won a Tony Award for her take on the role in the 2009 Broadway revival, as Anita and newcomer Solea Pfeiffer as Maria.

Hershey Felder channels the great composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein in Maestro, a new play with music written and performed by award-winning actor and musician Hershey Felder, and directed by Joel Zwick at 59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer; Brian Beirne, Managing Director). Maestro plays August 31 - October 16. The show opens Sunday, September 11 at 3PM.

Programming for American Ballet Theatre's 2016 Fall Season, October 19-30, at the David H. Koch Theater was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie. Proclaimed by the City of Los Angeles as "LA's Only Legal Orchestra," the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic was founded by attorney/conductor Gary S. Greene. The orchestra held its first rehearsal on January 19, 2009 with 30 legal musicians_and performed its debut concert on January 30, 2009. Since then, the orchestra has grown to 75 members and performed more than 40 concerts, raising more than tens of thousands of dollars to benefit those who cannot afford legal services and for other charitable purposes.
