GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy organization, announced today the nominees for its 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, presented nationally by Ketel One Vodka, Wells Fargo, and Hilton Worldwide. Premium entertainment network EPIX announced a new air date today for the world television premiere of Who the F**k is Arthur Fogel? The documentary will make its World Television Premiere on Wednesday, March 19, at 8PM ET. This documentary by Ron Chapman profiles Arthur Fogel, a relatively unknown businessman who has revolutionized the global concert touring industry. When it airs on March 19, the documentary will include new material including concert footage and a never-before-seen exclusive interview with recording artist and pop superstar Lady Gaga.

In the midst of their first National concert tour and their first major magazine cover spread, Well-Strung, The Singing String Quartet, will make their debut at New York's celebrated Broadway club 54 Below with shows on February 2 and March 16 at 9:30 PM. The foursome have been referred to as "absolutely amazing" by BBC Radio host Jo Good during their recent London debut, and as "the hottest thing with a bow since Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games" by the New York Daily News. The new show directed by Donna Drake features new arrangements of songs by Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift and Third Eye Blind among others as well as new material written by Jeffery Roberson (aka Varla Jean Merman). Tucked away in a corner of the Nikko Hotel is Feinstein's - a 140 seat, intimate nightclub with cozy banquettes and tables graced with crystal chandeliers and a stage on which the Steinway holds pride of place. As the 8 o'clock hour approached, smartly dressed San Franciscans along with tourists in casual wear made their way into the hotel, the buzz in the air clearly indicating that they were here to enjoy the best that San Francisco had to offer. And tonight that 'best' was powerhouse performer Joan Ryan.
CAP21 Theatre Company to Present WHEN WE MET, 2/4-22

The award winning CAP21 Theatre Company will kick off its 2014 season on February 4th with the new musical by Jonathan Larson Award winning writers Dan Collins (book) and Julianne Wick Davis (music and lyrics). The story was conceived in collaboration by Julianne Wick Davis, Sally Wilfert & Michael Winther. The production will be directed by Eric Hoff with musical direction by Charity Wicks and will star Broadway veterans Sally Wilfert (Broadway: Disney's King David, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Assassins; Off-Broadway: See Rock City and Make Me a Song), and Michael Winther (Broadway: 33 Variations, Mamma Mia!, 1776, Damn Yankees; Drama Desk nomination: Songs From An Unmade Bed).
