MegaCon Orlando is around the corner and bigger than ever! Taking place at the Orange County Convention Center from Thursday, May 26 through Sunday, May 29, the multi-genre comic book convention, now 4 big days, will welcome legendary guests such as William Shatner, Stan Lee, John Cusack, and many more throughout Memorial Day weekend.

This past week, Outback Concerts and Wild West Productions brought the biggest and brightest stars, as well as the hottest and most talked about up-and-comers, in comedy to Nashville. The third annual event, which is presented by Bud Light in association with Netflix and powered by SiriusXM, drew thousands of comedy fans to its over 30 shows at venues across Music City, including Ryman Auditorium, War Memorial Auditorium, TPAC's James K. Polk Theater, Zanies Nashville, Exit/In and Third Man Records. Performers included Jeff Foxworthy, Chris Tucker, TJ Miller, Trevor Noah, Kathy Griffin, Bill Burr, Miranda Sings and many more (full list below).

AMC announced today that it has greenlit the documentary series, HEROES AND VILLAINS: THE HISTORY OF COMIC BOOKS (Working Title) to be executive produced by Robert Kirkman and David Alpert (“The Walking Dead”) through Skybound Entertainment. The series is slated to premiere in 2017.

The level of my fandom for Chris Rock is worthy of the term fanatic to say the least and I SWEAR it's not because of our mutual obsession with the New York Mets. It runs deep, is what I'm saying. I fall asleep to his standup specials and annoy my friends by sending memes of his timeless quotes. I will not apologize as his voice is one of the greats of our generation.
