The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the West Coast Premiere of The Scottsboro Boys, the critically acclaimed musical about an infamous chapter in American history.

After her critically-acclaimed debut as Roxie Hart on Broadway and in London's West End, Christie Brinkley will make her Broadway tour debut this spring as she reprises her killer role in the six-time Tony Award-winning musical smash hit CHICAGO. Also joining the cast is star of 'Seinfeld' and 'Family Feud', John O'Hurley as Billy Flynn. This killer show will play at the San Diego Civic Theatre May 8-13, 2012. Tickets are available now!

According to the Tokyo Graph, actress Yonekura Ryoko will join the hit revival of John Kander, Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse's Tony Award-winning musical CHICAGO this July. She is set to star as Roxy Hart, making her the first Japanese woman to star on Broadway since the 1958 production of Flower Drum Song starring Nancy Umeki. Ryoko will also be the first Japanese performer to portray a lead American character in a long-running Broadway musical.

Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Damian Arnold, will present the Broadway premiere of Marc Camoletti's classic farce Don't Dress For Dinner, starring Ben Daniels as "Robert," Melora Hardin as "Jacqueline," Adam James as "Bernard" and Jennifer Tilly as "Suzanne" with Spencer Kayden as "Suzette." Don't Dress For Dinner is adapted by Robin Hawdon and directed by John Tillinger. The cast and creative team just met the press and BroadwayWorld was there for the big event. Television and movie legend William Shatner will bring his one man show SHATNER'S WORLD: WE JUST LIVE IN IT (www.shatnersworld.com) to the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, CA for one performance only on March 10 at 8pm. Tickets go on sale February 4th at 10:00 a.m. The show comes to L.A. direct from Broadway, where it will play a three week run at the Broadway's Music Box Theatre from February 14 - March 4.
