Rochester's award-winning PUSH Physical Theatre will make its debut with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) and Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzik in a unique collaboration on Friday and Saturday, April 13 & 14 at 8 p.m. in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre: Breaking Boundaries with PUSH Physical Theatre.

This April, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) breaks boundaries with the RPO debut of Rochester's award-winning PUSH Physical Theatre in a unique collaboration with the Orchestra and Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzik. Breaking Boundaries with PUSH Physical Theatre on Friday and Saturday, April 13 & 14 at 8 p.m. in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre will feature PUSH's interpretations of Tyzik compositions including his New York Cityscapes and "Blue Funk," as well as works by other composers, in an evening that will "push" audiences' preconceptions of a symphonic concert.

PUSH will present three, all-ages performances at RAPA at School of the Arts' Allen Main Stage Theatre (45 Prince St.): Saturday, Sept. 19 at noon (no swears); Friday, Sept. 25 at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. (some swears) Tickets are $18 and available now at rochesterfringe.com or 585-957-9837 (phone fees apply), or starting Sunday, Sept. 13 at the Fringe Box Office (corner of Main & Gibbs Sts.), or at the venue door one hour before show time. The Shakespeare Players program of the Rochester Community Players will present eleven performances of A Midsummer Night's Dream, by William Shakespeare, July 5 to 19, 2014. Performances will be presented every night between July 5 and 19, except Mondays and Thursdays. All performance times are 8:00 PM.
