Today, October 13th, James Moye will assume the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter's nemesis, Dr. Chilton, in Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical at the new Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square. The beautiful Elektra Theatre has been specially constructed to be the new home of SILENCE! and is located at 669 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St.)

Due to overwhelming demand, the producers of SILENCE! The Musical today added two performances to the weekly playing schedule beginning October 23rd at the Elektra Theatre in Times Square: Tuesdays at 7 PM and Saturday matinees at 2 PM.

The stars came out for Andre De Shields' SRO return Friday night Oct 5 to the Laurie Beechman theatre (downstairs at the West Bank Cafe). The West Coast Premiere of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, officially opened September 12 at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. Broadway World TV's Los Angeles Correspondent and Co-Producer Michael Sterling and Co-Producer Jerry Evans of JLE Media, Inc. were on hand for the red carpet festivities which included such celebrities as Jason Alexander, Rosanna Arquette, Simon Baker, Eric Balfour, Justin Bartha, Beth Behrs, Juie Bowen, Cher, Don Cheadle, Viola Davis, Heather Graham, Laura Dern, Jonathan Groff, Daryl Hannah, Kathy Griffin, Marica Gay Harden, John Hawkes, Lisa Kudrow, Diane Ladd, Tobey Maquire, Bill Maher, Garry Marshall, Julia Ormand, Dermot Mulroney, Carl Reiner, Parker Posey, Jane Seymour, and Alicia Silverstone. Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone were also in attendance. The much anticipated run of THE BOOK OF MORMON will continue through November 25, 2012.

GLEE's Lea Michele visited ABC's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE last night to promote the upcoming season premiere of the FOX musical drama series. During the interview, Michele turned the cameras on her best friend and Spring Awakening co-star Jonathan Groff and called him out for not remembering to phone her on her recent birthday. Original cast member Harry Bouvy is set to return as Dr. Chilton in Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical tomorrow, September 12th at the new Elektra Theatre in Times Square.

The historic Fulton Theatre in downtown Lancaster launches its 2012/2013 season with Gypsy, often held up by critics as the best book musical written in the 20th century. Gypsy is loosely based on the memoirs of vaudeville and burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee, with music by Jule Styne, lyrics Stephen Sondheim, and a book by Arthur Laurents. It features some of the best-known and loved musical songs, such as 'Everything's Coming up Roses,' 'Some People,' 'Let Me Entertain You' and 'Rose's Turn.'

One of this generation's brightest new stars, Jonathan Groff, brings his solo show to Indianapolis, which will include a mix of funk, R&B and songs from his already extensive Broadway and television career.
