Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook has returned to the Allen Room for its fourteenth season celebrating the diversity of American popular song. For 16 nights, the series is exploring the best of the golden age of musical standards through to today's most dynamic songwriting. The series continued on January 21, with a concert by Michael Cerveris and below, we bring you a clip from the performance!

Michael Feinstein The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook will perform American standards from his Grammy nominated Sinatra Project on Tue. Jan. 31 @ 8 PM. Classical music superstar, violinist Joshua Bell will dazzle the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall audience on Thur. Feb. 2 @ 8 PM.

Concert and cabaret artist Anna Bergman returned to Feinstein's at Loews Regency (540 Park Avenue @ 61st Street) on Friday, January 13 and Saturday, January 14 (8:30pm). Anna premiered her new show "You & the Night & the Music: An Evening of Musical Imports & Exports" featuring her musical director and arranger Alex Rybeck, Jered Egan on bass and directed by Jeff Harnar.

The Town Hall has just announced the 12th Season of their acclaimed BROADWAY BY THE YEAR® concert series which kicks off with THE BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1946 on Monday, February 13, 2012. The show is created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Initial casting includes Alice Ripley, the Tony® Award winning star of Next to Normal, Tom Wopat (Tony® Award nominated for his role of Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun revival/Catch Me if You Can), Kerry O'Malley (On a Clear Day…Annie Get Your Gun revival) and Noah Racey (Curtains), who will also choreograph. The evening will feature songs and dance from Irving Berlin's classic Annie Get Your Gun and other musicals including Call Me Mister, St. Louis Woman and Park Avenue. Ross Patterson is the musical director.
