Charter Communications' premium content initiative, Spectrum Originals, has picked up the limited series “Mad About You.” The Sony Pictures Television- produced series will include original cast, as Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt will reprise their roles as Paul and Jamie Buchman.  Peter Tolan is tapped to be the showrunner, and Helen Hunt will direct the first episode.  Danny Jacobson, who co-created the show with Reiser will serve as an executive consultant.  The series is scheduled to launch in late 2019.

“L.A.'s Finest,” the highly anticipated series marking the launch of Charter Communications' premium content initiative Spectrum Originals, and produced by Sony Pictures Television, will make its premiere on Spectrum's On Demand platform on Monday, May 13, 2019. The announcement was made today on social media by series stars and executive producers Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba. The first three installments in the 13-episode series will be exclusively available to Spectrum video subscribers free On Demand (and without ads) on May 13, after which new episodes will release every Monday until the finale.

CBS All Access, CBS' digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, today announced that all eight episodes of the second season of its original comedy series NO ACTIVITY will be available to stream beginning Today, Nov. 22. NO ACTIVITY's second season debut marks the first time CBS All Access has released an entire season of an original series at once.

CBS All Access announced today that season two of its first original comedy series, NO ACTIVITY, will launch on its service in Canada on Thursday, Nov. 22. All episodes of the series' second season will be available to stream on this date, mirroring the roll-out in the U.S.

Today, the celebrated non-profit Baby2Baby announced Amy Adams as the recipient of the “Giving Tree Award” at the “2018 Baby2Baby Gala Presented by Paul Mitchell,” which will be held on November 10, 2018 at 3Labs in Los Angeles.  As part of their mission to provide children living in poverty with all the basic necessities that every child deserves, Baby2Baby honors a mother each year who utilizes her position in the public eye to advocate on behalf of the children the organization serves.  Past honorees of the “Giving Tree Award” include Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Kerry Washington, Drew Barrymore, Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Finesse Mitchell takes the stage in his first stand-up special FINESSE MITCHELL: THE SPIRIT TOLD ME TO TELL YOU, premiering on Friday, October 19 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME on-air, streaming and on demand. Daniel Borunda, creator and executive producer of the docu-series entitled, “America Unscripted,” is preparing for the production of a total of ten, 30 minute episodes of the forthcoming series. Production is slated for completion by the end of 2018. “America Unscripted” is described by Borunda as a “compelling, honest and unscripted television series.” He plansto interview people who live in culturally diverse and politically polarized cities throughout the United States with the goal of encouraging unity and hope. According to Daniel Borunda, “The idea for the docu-series sprung out of a series of events, personal to me, which started about two years ago. It began after I had heard a pastor's message about living an epic and honorable life.” Continuing, “The pastor discussed the fact that each of us is uniquely gifted to carry out a particular purpose in life, in essence living out one's destiny in a beneficial and uplifting way and how every one of us can be of service to others.' The pastor discussed, “living an epic life, with “epic” defined as how it relates to each person's unique contribution that each of us is here on earth to do.”
