VH1's Do Something Awards (#DSAwards) is back and ready to show the world that the youth of today do more than text and tweet. DoSomething.org, the country's largest not-for-profit for young people and change, and VH1 has announced that this year's Do Something Awards will air live from The Avalon in Hollywood tonight, July 31, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET.

The Hollywood Bowl's production of the third longest running musical in Broadway history - CHICAGO - stars Samantha Barks as Velma, Drew Carey as Amos, Lucy Lawless as Mama Morton, Stephen Moyer as Billy Flynn, and AshLee Simpson as Roxie Hart. The Production opened Friday night, July 26, and runs through tonight, July 28. The show is directed by Brooke Shields with Musical Direction by Rob Fisher. DoSomething.org, the country's largest not-for-profit for young people and change, and VH1 has announced that this year's Do Something Awards will air live from The Avalon in Hollywood on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET. People reports that Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill) will be hosting the ceremony. Bush most recently appeared in the TV series Partners. Her other credits include Hatfields & McCoys, Nip/Tuck and more.

BWW TV Los Angeles Correspondents Michael Sterling and A.J. Hernandez were on hand for a sneak peak at rehearsal's and one-one-one cast and creative team interviews last Friday, July 19 for The Hollywood Bowl's production of the third longest running musical in Broadway history – CHICAGO. The production stars Samantha Barks as Velma, Drew Carey as Amos, Lucy Lawless as Mama Morton, Stephen Moyer as Billy Flynn, and Ashlee Simpson as Roxie Hart. The Production will be presented July 26 – July 28, at the historic 17,000 seat venue and is directed by Brooke Shields with Musical Direction by Rob Fisher.
