The June 15th benefit concert staging of Jekyll & Hyde at New York Society for Ethical Culture will feature two songs not heard in the show's initial Broadway bow. Bring on the Men, which was replaced by Good and Evil for the show's 1500+ performance run at the Plymouth Theater, was re-inserted into the show following the original Broadway production. Girls of the Night, which was cut out of town, is being included by special permission from the authors.

On Monday May 18th, the principal cast of Jekyll & Hyde at the New York Society for Ethical Culture were featured at Jim Caruso's Cast Party at Birdland (315 W. 44th St.). Brooke Sunny Moriber and Jennifer Hallie Rosen were on hand to perform selections from the Wildhorn/Bricusse gothic musical.

Celebrated American author and playwright Quiara Alegr?a Hudes returns to the Alliance Theatre in March, bringing with her a tender and funny new play about family. A finalist in the National Endowment for the Arts New Play Development Program, 26 Miles takes audiences on a road trip with a teenage daughter and her mother in an '83 Buick Regal. Along the way, they discover plenty about themselves, their relationship and what family really means. The ASCAP Foundation announced that four new musical works have been selected for presentation at the 13th Annual ASCAP Foundation/Disney Musical Theatre Workshop in Los Angeles.

Yale Repertory Theatre will present a staged reading of John Austin Connolly's The Boys from Siam, directed by Liz Diamond, on Monday, October 1 at 7:30 PM. The reading will take place in the New Theater, located at 1156 Chapel Street in New Haven. Admission is free.
